 BAPTISM

 

Baptism is the first of the seven sacraments in the

Catholic Church.  Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons and daughters of God.  

Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment to God.

Baptisms are celebrated and scheduled with the Deacons, on a Saturday: at 10am in (Spanish) and after the 5pm Vigil Mass, in (English). 

  • Parents must be registered parishioners for at least 3 months prior to the date of baptism.

​

  • Registration must be done in person at the Parish Office Monday-Friday 8:30am to 12:00pm or 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

​​

  • Birth Certificate for the child or person receiving the Baptismal Sacrament is required at registration.

​​

  • Godparents must be Catholic and if married, married by the Church; a Catholic Marriage Certificate will be required, OR a Confirmation Certificate must be presented if the Godparents are single.

​​

  • Parents and Sponsors must attend a mandatory Baptismal Class offered in (Spanish) and (English). There is a $25 fee per family.

​​

  • There is a $50 fee for non-members, to offset the facility operations cost, due at registration. Please contact the Parish Office for additional questions and concerns at        (210) 655-5070.
